World Water Day 2011
The painting ‘Africa, Apart/Together’ (size 150×100 cm) will be auctioned on March 22, on World Water Day 2011. The proceeds of 45 paintings, all from Dutch artists will be donated to several drinkwater projects in South Africa.

Wim Zorn, participates in National Artweek
The National Artweek, which runs from 6-14 November will bring Visual Arts to the attention of all Dutch citizens. It does so by organizing a great number of activities and events among which the election of the Artist of the Year and the Art City of the Year, the Artweek Gift and the Artweek Book.
During the Artweek Wim Zorn’s workshop and exhibiton space in Koudum in the province of Friesland, the Netherlands, will be opened to the public. Visiting hours, every day from 14.00-17.00. Visitors will receive the Artweek Gift (as long as stocks last!). For further information: www.kunstweek.nl

Managementboek.nl acquires Composition nr. 17
Composition nr. 17 (see picture) has been given a place in the bright entrance hall of online bookshop Managementboek.nl in Schiedam, the Netherlands. In 2009 this work was last exhibited during the Biennale in Florence (Italy).

Works by Zorn in permanent collection of the Southern Nevada Museum
Joseph Palermo, Executive Director of the Southern Nevada Museum in Las Vegas has chosen composition nr. 41 (see picture) to be added to their permanent collection.
Five other works will be displayed during the sales exposition in the ‘Emporium’, which forms a part of the museum. This exposition in Las Vegas runs from November 2010 until May 2011.
